Strong lensing modeling
SDSS J0100+1818 is an unique strong lensing system, with five sources strongly lensed by a ultra massive elliptical galaxy. This configuration allows us to accurately measure the mass distribution of the lens and also to measure the values of some cosmological parameters. Read more here.

Characterizing the stellar population of high-$z$ star forming clumps. A sample and D2
Which are the physical properties of the star forming regions observed in high redshift galaxies? What kind of stellar populations do we observe? Are we observing the progenitors of the local globular clusters?
Learn how I am using state-of-the-art NIRSpec, NIRCam, and VLT/XShooter data to answer these questions.

The origin of the Lyman-$\alpha$ emission
The Lyman-$\alpha$ line is the strongest tracer of neutral hydrogen in the Universe but its origin is still under debate. Read more to find out how I am using spectropolarimetry data to study the Lyman-$\alpha$ polarization and discriminate between the different scenarios.
